Bums

My father has this relative, I frequently call said relative a bum. It infuriates my dear father to no end when I refer to said person as a bum but to me, if it looks like a bum and acts like a bum ..

I find it hilarious really, but my Dad gets all worked up when I say it. Doesn't make it any less funny though.

Well ok, it's only funny when it's not anywhere near me or my family cause it's painfully annoying when it displays its bum-like tendencies near us.

I bet my mom agrees with me, she's just too nice to call anyone a bum. Hahaha .. A bum a bum a bum .. That's what that person is. A bum.

This is such a pointless post.

Am rather bored now ..

Feet are killing though cause I wore 3 inch heels to court today. Not just any court but the Shah Alam court. It's notorious for having very little parking and being perched on top of a hill.

So now I can't feel my toes.

I ordered McDonald's for luch today because I didn't bring anything from home today. I just realised I haven't had Mcd's in like a year :O.

Why am I writing down such mundane things ? Hrmmm

Snow :)

I know I should have posted this up ages ago. I also know I broke my promise about trying to blog once a week. Apologies.

It snowed here in Cardiff a few weeks ago. Well now that I think about it it was more than a month ago..



No one expected it to snow in Cardiff cause the weather here is supposed to be very mild. It started snowing in the morning but it got really heavy during the evening. Didn't go play in the snow though, was too exhausted when I got home.



I like how the snow makes everything look so beautiful.

Double decker bus that takes me to Uni everyday ! :D It comes by every hour. I missed the bus once though, I had to walk to the bus stop in the city centre at night, it was so cold I thought my fingers would turn blue. (alright clearly I am exaggerating but it was ridiculously cold !!)

Haha.. All the pictures seem to be taken around the same area, mainly because I was too busy to take pictures during the time. I do regret that now, should have taken the time to do so cause it hardly ever snows in Cardiff.

The British Museum

Went to the British Museum today . I love museums ! :D

As usual it was freezing cold today , in fact it's colder than usual , it was -3 degrees Celsius last night . However , my love for all things touristy forced me to brave the cold and head to the museum .


The entrance . Just looking at it made me get all happy and excited .

Legend has it that the Sphinx was a half lion half woman that would ask you a riddle when you came across her , you'd have to answer her riddle and she'd attack you if you got it wrong .

I don't know why , but I found this picture to be ridiculously funny and couldn't stop laughing when I first saw it . A naked man dancing with a panther . Funny lah !

I forgot who these people are , a wealthy and influential family I think . The only reason I took this picture is because I thought it was rather funny that they all seemed to have lost their noses .

Massive bronze bells


Found this to be rather interesting . It was part of an exhibition called 'Dying and Living' . It's supposedly a mask . I was rather amazed at their ability to create something so incredibly lifelike.


I'm not entirely sure what these are . Decorations for halloween maybe


Replica of an ancient Grecian temple . Very nice.


A giant foot . I have no idea what happened to the giant statute.



Room full of Parthenon sculptures. Beautifully done , I couldn't really appreciate it though as it all looked more or less the same to me .

Oh how I wish the our National Museum was like this . I'd go visit it so very often if it were .

The reason that there aren't any pictures of me is that I tend to go sightseeing alone . Also , I don't feel comfortable with giving my camera to random strangers as asking them to take photos of me :)
